This glossy vintage postcard features a black and whitie photo of a large group of swans on the river at Weymouth. There is a long bridge and the town in the background. At the bottom the words "Weymouth. The Swans".
On the back is a pencilled message that reads; "Dear Lily. I forgot all about your post card [sic] until this morning. Enjoying myself very much. Love from Alec." The card is addressed to "Miss Ward, 83 Redston Rd, Hornsey, London".
On the top right is a green Edward VII half penny, with a postmark reading "JY 21, 08" suggesting this card was posted on 21st July 1908.
