Originally sent in September 1923, this vintage postcard depicts Canterbury Cathedral and includes a penciled message to "Mrs Capell" of Northampton.
This vintage postcard showing a photo of Canterbury Cathedral in Kent, is part of the "WFM series" produced by Wheeler Fisx-Moore.
The penciled message on the back reads:
"We have had such a lovely day here - weather beautiful! What an interesting place and of course Gordon shows us everything - does not want Michael to miss anything. What lovely weather if only you had come last Monday but then we cannot tell! Is your mouth better? Have you made any arrangements about going away? Love to father and all, Josephine".
The card is addressed to Mrs Capell of Colwyn Road, Northampton and is dated 10.9.23, with a red King George V one penny stamp on the top right.
