This vintage postcard was sent on 5 May 1926 to Mrs Capell of 119 Colwyn Road, Northampton. The front shows a picture of Antwerp Cathedral, while the message on the back reads:

"We came over here on Monday to catch the "Melita" which sails today as the "Montroyal" is not sailing. It was a terrible rush as we did not know until 4.45 on Monday that we should have to catch the 8.40 boat train that night! Love May."

The back includes two Belgian stamps, and a franking mark from the post office which confirms the May 1926 date.
