This vintage postcard is from 24 August 1927. The front is an interior shot of Dorchester Abbey in Oxfordshire. It shows a tomb chest with an effigy of a knight on top, standing in front of a carved wooden screen and a stained glass window.

There is a short written note on the back that shows the date and reads; "Dorchester Abbey. "Vine" window on N. side of sanctuary". 

This is no stamp on this postcard and nothing to suggest that one has been removed.
