Amalienborg Palace

This vintage postcard is dated 16 May 1946, written by a soldier to the Reverend Thomas Gilby at Blackfriars, Oxford. The postcard states that "Now I command No 1 co of 2 [something] guards at Lubeck. A most enjoyable job, for I get about so much and ride, shoot and yacht. Danish [something] are very hospitable. What of you."

The image on the front is of Amalienborg Palace, the home of the Danish Royal family. Two Danish stamps are attached to the back of the postcard.
