This vintage postcard depicts a street in the town of Villefranche in southern France, looking through an arch.

The message on the back is dated from 9 February 1924, to "Dear father" from "Josephine". She recounts that it has been mostly sunny, and that she is "feeling so much better". The postcard was written at the Hotel Victoria in Monte Carlo, and she is hoping to visit "San Remo", the town of Sanremo on the Italian coast.

This postcard also includes a red stamp from the "Principaute de Monaco".
