Afoot in England

Afoot in England is a travel book by William Henry Hudson, detailing his journeys around the English countryside. This book has blue cloth boards with an embossed image of a bird among leaves on the front cover. The title of the book is in gilt emboss on the spine but is quite faded.

Inside the book on the first page is a small dedication in ink that reads "From D.S. Penton, 9.6.25".

The spine is cracked between page 96 and 97 but the binding is secure and all pages are present. There is foxing on the text block and on some pages but there are no pencil or ink marks.

Overall this book is in good condition and should make an interesting gift for anyone who enjoys a good hike around England.
