This vintage postcard features a front with a colourised image of the Old Weir Bridge at Killarney in County Kerry. The bridge has a double arch over a river, with a figure in a row boat on the bottom right hand side.
On the back of the postcard is a handwritten message in black in which reads:
"Dear E Thanks for P.C. Sorry cannot come today - am still very bad - would liked to have had tea with Leslie on his birthday - Edie"
This is followed on the left side of the card with another line that reads "Wish him [Leslie] many happy returns for me".
The postcard is addressed to Mrs F.J. Rabarts at 78 Chesnut Road, Plumstead.
The date 27.10.1910 (27th October 1910) is written in black ink above the message, and a green half penny King Edward VII stamp is covered with a postmark that shows "10" (1910) for the year.
