Dating from 1928, this vintage postcard features a photo of Seaton beach and several buildings facing across the sand towards the water. The town of Seaton can be found on the south west coast of England, between Exeter and Bridport.
On the back of the postcard is a message in blue ink dated 20th July 1928, which reads: "We are both looking forward very much to seeing you on Sunday. Expect we shall arrive about 4p.m. It was so nice to see H again after nearly a week, but he was naturally rather sad. All news on Sunday, Love Adelaide."
The postcard is addressed to Mrs H.W. Burton, 82 Cambridge Road, Wimbledon, S.W.20. It includes a King George V red one penny stamp, and a postmark showing the year 1928.
