This vintage postcard has a very dark image of some sheep in the foreground. Behind them is a wider expanse of countryside, with a broad expanse of sky and possibly a sunbeam shining from behind a cloud, although it's hard to tell.
On the back in ink is a message that reads: "This gives you an idea of the extent of the Downs, [illegible] Katie."
The card is addressed to "S.C. Lazzell [Layzell?] Esq, British E.A. Corp, Box 12, Mombasa British E. Africa." and has the message "Please forward" in the top right without a stamp. This suggests the postcard dates from before 1920, as "British East Africa" became the "Colony of Kenya" in 1920.
