This vintage postcard features nine different scenes from the Welsh coastal town of Rhyl. The scenes are: Rhyl from the Pavilion; The Bathing Pool, East Parade; Rock Gardens, East Promenade; The Pavilion and New Bandstead; The Harbour; Children's Lake, Promenade; West Parade from the Pavilion.
On the back is a pencil message to Mrs Joe Roberts at Coleshill. The message is difficult to read as the handwriting is unclear and there is a postmark over part of it, but it notes that the writer feels better for their stay.
The postmark is from June 1943, so someone may have gone on holiday to get away from the stress of the Second World War. There is also a King George VI stamp in the top right.
