After his father seized the English throne, Henry became the new heir. He became King Henry V on his father's death.
He was King for just nine years, during which he oversaw one of England's best known victories against the French; the Battle of Agincourt. Ultimately though France proved to be his undoing, he caught dysentery while on campaign and died leaving a nine month old baby as his heir.
Henry was hit in the face by an arrow as a teenager, which reportedly left a large scar. We've tried to recreate it here, along with his fashionable haircut.
