Catherine of Valois was the french wife of King Henry V and the mother of King Henry VI. Her husband died when their son was only nine months old, leaving Catherine still a young woman. She ended up eloping with her servant, Owen Tudor, their grandson was Henry Tudor, the future Henry VII.
