This vintage postcard has a black and white photo of one of the famous chalk cliffs of Etretat. The town name is at the top of the image, with "Trous de la Falaise d'Amont" underneath.
On the back written in ink is a message that reads "Monday 31st, 8-40pm, Rog' letter and telegram just arrived. AWJ." The card is addressed to "Mr Ward, Messrs Morart (?), 91 New Bond Street, London, Angleterre".
On the top right of the back is a red French 10 cent stamp. There are two postmarks but the date on them isn't visible. However, the second postcard from the same place and writer has a clear postmark from 1908 so this card dates from then.
