This vintage postcard is from the Holmes Real Photo Series and features a photo named as "Tongland Bridge near Kirkcudbright", in Scotland. It shows a bridge over a river with rocks and trees.
On the back is a message written in black ink which reads:
"Dear Pat Cycle-camping is great fun in this part of the world. We are made very welcome everywhere and have found camp sites very easily. Since we left Carlisle on Sunday the weather has been bright and sunny. It is wonderful country here and good roads, all for now. Best wishes David and Grace (?)"
The postcard is addressed to Miss R. Rabarts at 78 Chestnut Road, Plumstead. It has a red King George V one penny stamp and a postmark that shows the year, 1933.
