Agrippina the Younger was a Roman Empress as the wife of Emperor Claudius. She was one of the most prominent women in the Julia-Claudian family, not only was she related to Augustus and Tiberius, she was also sister of Caligula, and the mother of Emperor Nero.

She may have poisoned Claudius, in order to ensure that Nero became Emperor. She was definitely killed by Nero, who feared Agrippina would have him overthrown and replaced.
