Anne of Bohemia was the first wife of King Richard II of England. The marriage was unpopular at first as Anne brought no money with her, her father was powerful but not particularly wealthy, but she appears to have won over the public with her acts of "intercession".

They were married for 12 years but didn't have any children. She died of the plague at Sheen Manor in 1394, Richard II was so distraught at her death that he apparantly had the whole palace torn down.
