Anne of Cleves was the fourth wife of King Henry VIII of England. She was the daughter of the Duke of Cleves, a small Duchy located in what is now Germany. Her "claim to fame" is that she was one of Henry's wives who "survived", although he did give her the cruel name of "the Flanders Mare".
